Has it ever occurred to you, how much a community where people who are on a very similar journey can add value to each other’s journey?
At Coversity, the teen cohorts work together to turn their interests and passions into careers. They spend three months on campus, participating in different individual and group activities. In the process, they get to know themselves and each other well. This understanding helps them see each other’s strengths and weaknesses, allowing them to offer valuable advice and support. The different ways they help each other are:
- Asking for feedback on their plans and daily activities
- Asking for help in areas that they are not able to move forward
- Requesting suggestions for handling their struggles
- Adding value by thinking of ways to support each other
- Pushing each other, especially in areas where they need it most
Here’s a story of a teen Cohort member who feels that Coversity helped him become more of a Team Player and flexible enough to coexist with diverse personalities.
