Have you ever wondered what following a rigour does to you? The word “rigour” can mean being meticulous or facing hardships. That’s why people have different reactions when they need to stick to a routine.
Here is a story about Srijani at Coversity. The rigour of working towards turning a passion into a profession through careful planning intrigued her.
During COVID, when schools went online, Srijani, good at studies, left regular school because her parents didn’t see much value in it. She became an open learner by joining Aarohi-X, the online platform of Aarohi. She enjoyed attending all the sessions, took initiative in some projects, and loved her learning journey in the community.
However with extra time on her hands, Srijani found herself spending a lot of time on her mobile and watching TV shows and movies. Her parents were concerned, and she too started thinking about how to use her time better.
She watched her sister, one of the first cohort at Coversity, planning her day and working on making her passion for design into a career. Her sister worked on different projects, explored various designs, and constantly pursued her dreams. This intrigued Srijani and became the reason for her to join Coversity and pursue her dream of becoming a baker.
Isn’t it interesting to see a teenager attracted to the rigour of making their dream come true? It shows a basic human urge, and that’s what Coversity provides space for.
