Many of us have become excited about AI. Learners continue to use AI for their day to day explorations. For the planning circle, we thought why not flip the equation and bring in ‘Human Intelligence’
We asked children to pair up and bring any 1 invention that makes their life better. Each pair had to imagine themselves as an AI tool like chatgpt and respond to questions asked by others.
Learners brought in inventions like football, pen, notebook, bag. Different questions poured in –
- what is the purpose of a football
- how is a football different from a basketball
- why is a bag called a bag
- how many bags exist in the world
- why does a pen have a lid
Each pair had to take time to process and respond like an AI tool would do. The session was completed by reflecting upon –
How was I asking questions? How was i at the time of responding?
Some shared they were trying to confuse the machine. While responding they were trying to be conscious and respond. At some time, they mentioned they just made up some random answer.
