
Teeagers, often are misunderstood. They are not careless, they are not irresponsible, they are not rowdy … they are THEY.
All they need is SPACE to glow and grow. They need acceptance for what they are. Interaction with teenagers at winter camp at Aarohi was fun.
- They listensd but they asked questions and they needed understanding.
- They were responsible but they needed a reason and understanding.
- They were responding but they needed us to be open minded.
Had a great time with them debating, arguing, explaining, listening, demanding and changing.They shared
- Most important was learning and experiencing something new
- I did what I really wanted to do
- I was ‘I’ for the first time
- Social interaction was challenging for me
- Felt optimistic
