Exercise and fitness are limited to some PT classes in the school for kids, joining yoga classes when the body stops working or be part of a gym to lose weight or build muscles. Most of us know that fitness is as essential as nutritious in the food, most of us postponed or not getting into the culture of ‘fitness routines’.
In this scenario where fitness is just an extra curricular activity, exploring its importance is challenging. The journey with a few years back at Aarohi with yoga every Tuesday, then we moved to regular exercise in the morning and then we brought some structures with the help of fitness friends. Each week by turn two of us work on it, read about it, understand it and bring different exercises to understand self.
Partner yoga is one of the popular ones. It’s not only bringing the joy of doing together, it also about helping each other in stretches and holding each other.
