The parent guidance (PG) sessions are initiated by your writing down all your concerns and issues as an email and sending it to us. Simultaneously we will fix the first session (typically takes 1-2 hours) at a mutually convenient day and date. Let us know your convenient slot and dates based on the fact that both parents need to attend the same.
We normally do not counsel children. We have found it much more effective and much better in the long run to rather guide the parents to counsel their child. Hence all sessions start with Parents. If we think it is required, we can meet or interact with the child later (however in almost 95% of the cases this is not required).
This session will be done either by Aditi or Ratnesh – both being founder directors of geniekids – Aarohi, and have been working with children of all ages and training parents and teachers since 1999.
During these sessions we would together work out a plan for you and your child and how you (parent) can play a more effective role. We would also be able to recommend you to books, websites and people which may benefit you and your child.
There are two ways of doing the Counselling sessions
One to one over phone or video call using zoom or google meet – there are obvious advantages of doing over internet – time flexibility, comfort of your home as well saving on travelling.
If however, you prefer meeting face to face – then you will have to come over to aarohi campus – which is located about 55km from center of Bangalore, but in Tamil Nadu. Apart from the advantage of meeting in person – you get to see Aarohi’s campus 🙂
- Your financial contribution for the first session is in the range of ₹1,555 to ₹2,555. For follow-up sessions you can contribute as per your wish. See Payment options here

- For parent guidance – unless there is a specific reason, the first session is most effective when BOTH parents attend – hence we almost insist on it!
