For a few moments if we can consider these CHEATING and COPYING ways of learning without judgement, that comes along with these words. It can open up a totally new way of looking at these ways of learning.
When we teach children something invariably, we ROB this opportunity to cheat. We take away the very fundamental way our brain makes patterns (by seeing other patterns).

At Aarohi we know that Cheating requires almost all the Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)
* Observation (what interesting is going on)
One of the basic ways we all learn something from our infancy stage.
* Analysis (What is making the result I too want)
Analysis is the way our brain understands and stores information in memory, so it can retrieve it later.d at a later time
* Application (Where and How will I use this)
This is when they actually try to repeat the action that they have watched and observed other do. They are even expecting or hoping to produce the same result.
* Evaluation ( Which part to cheat – Which part is the key – important to me here)
As children repeat or recreate the act , they apply their own uniques perspective. The child continuously follows both unconscious and conscious evaluation based on the outcome and the steps involved. The whole effort is towards the outcome that they are expecting or hoping.
The whole of the above process is happening all the time. We adults often have expectations. Based on those, we try to lead the child through the process. If only we can take a backseat and just let the child lead. You might be surprised by how effortlessly children guide you through their learning process. Our job of just sitting back and chilling is what we haven’t learnt.
Hands-on learning helps children remember and grow. Success brings satisfaction, and failure fuels curiosity. Both lead to deeper learning.Imagine what it can do to the confidence of a child?
The space at Aarohi is conducive for this type of learning. At Aarohi, a peer is anyone doing something interesting—someone I can learn from or be inspired by! At Aarohi children cheat technique, skill, knowledge, ideas, style, purpose, emotion, passion and thinking.
When you cheat the light from a candle, the illumination only doubles.
Come to Aarohi – let’s celebrate the true spirit of peer learning where children harness / discover their true potential by organically learning with, from and through other learners of all ages.
