The week began with a display “Welcome to Math Mall – shop for Math Puzzle, Stimulation, session on why maths, or make surveyor’s wheel or use different Math Resources”.
Day one Kids went around, many shopped for math puzzle, they had doubts about how to bring maths in daily life and browsed through various maths books (some funny, some reading)…At the they shared “maths was all around, it gave me space to do at my pace, it was peaceful…” – I guess stimulation was done without me conducting any activity.
We conduct simulation activities to introduce different aspects of learning – we choose from different intelligences. This week it was about “math application”. We made surveyor’s wheel with a old paint box lid. Some kids also sign up for maths course to be friends with maths.
