Kids at Aarohi use internet widely as their learning source. One child was browsing how to make cake and reached ‘how to kiss’. Another child, who was sitting next, got hysterical ‘how can you watch such videos……….auntyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, Oh my god, how can you do that, close it immediately, its bad, its………….The other child gathered his senses and replied in defense ‘i just clicked’….other one continued ‘you did it by purpose, auntyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy’.
We had the option of investigating further and finding WHY….we decided to have open discussion session next day on ‘Internet, and our role’ covering ‘How to use safely, how to browse, what are the dangers (we all know benefits, so we did not cover that) and so on’. Almost all took part in this session, most of the inputs came from kids, here is what we understood
