Helpmate is the space to take help of community to express/solve issues which are disturbing to anyone. While kids solve their problemns in their own ways, we also intrdocue them to variouys tools -NVC(non violent communictaion), circle time and Art Expressions are some of the tools we have been using. All these tools empower one to discover self.
Rose Bush is one of art based therapy activity. Art is just another language with which to share feelings, ideas, perceptions, fantasies, and observations about self, others and the environment. Art allows one to connect through images rather than words alone.
This was done in group….they wanted to draw more and spend time with their rose bush, add around their rose bush – discovering what is near, what is far.
