Listening to Nature by Joseph Cornell. A book to deepen awareness of nature. The book has many small chapters – each chapter starts with a photograph, thought on nature and one activity or an experience.

One of the activity which I like is the concept of ‘time walk’ and ‘being walk’. Often we do time walk – we have time limit to reach from one place to another. On a relaxed day go for ‘being walk’ on the same path where you spend time with anything you see on the way – a leaf, an insect, a stone, etc and spend as much time enjoying, you and child, would like to. Such experiences encourages sense of wonder and delight of discovery.

I often carry this book with me while travelling and each photograph, each chapter is delight to read and do.
