How can parents add value to their teen’s professional journey? We get asked this question way too often. Since, teens is also a phase when the entire family is on their toes wondering about career choices and decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At CoVersity, parents & facilitators become guides to the entire cohort. Guides are not domain experts. But their value add can be profoundly deep. They can engage with the youth beyond progress tracking or providing just logistical support that families do anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As guides, we did not have any clue what we were getting into. We co-created our guidelines and responsibilities to add value in the cohort’s journey. Time and again, we consulted the youth to understand our role in their journey. It was astonishing for all of us to discover that we could expand our roles to support these youth at so many levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
