Normally when kids ask for spelling we write on slate, or look into dictionary or say it aloud. Last week in session, I asked kids to write first their spelling and then I wrote. We enjoyed constructing our own understanding on how spellings are made, analyzing self and understand our own patterns of spelling any word.
