One child started with “capitals of country”. She asked peers about the capitals they know. While she was doing this, I just gave her a book of flags – the book had many countries and capitals and visuals of flags. She was engrossed whole day exploring . Next day I was working on civilization and while doing this I read some facts about some capitals, I gave her that book, she was hooked onto word “capital” (this is where she began). Meanwhile she was also learning Garba dance and worked on dress for the dance, next day she moved to finding more about dresses and costumes in different capitals – she stayed with her original word “capital of the country”.
