Eggshell plaster is a game-changer. It is eco-friendly, inexpensive, and creates a unique, elegant texture on walls. The smooth finish it offers is incredibly satisfying. Through experimenting with different recipes and measurements, I’ve begun to understand the subtle science behind natural plasters.
Plaster 1
Recipe:
- Lime – 1 part
- Sand – 1½ parts
- Clay – ½ part
Inference:
I absolutely loved the smoothness of this mix. It spread evenly and produced a refined, natural finish that was both aesthetically pleasing and sustainable.
This journey has deepened my appreciation for traditional building techniques and reinforced my passion for eco-friendly construction. And this is just the beginning—many more experiments await!
