It began with a desire “I want to organize sports day” – and it happened!
The community came together to play – the day started at 5 in the morning with football, then kho-kho, races, volleyball, Kabbadi and Table tennis – four teams competing with each other to discover self. For some, the pleasure was the criteria while for some winning was significant criteria. Preparations were done keeping in mind the different ages, rules were changed to accommodate different needs
Different ages played – some felt satisfied, while some were disappointed, some felt happy to play, some did not bother with winning or losing, while some chased winning, some discovered self talent, while some felt the guilt of not being a team player, some wanted to win no matter what, some lost their stamina while some felt enthralled!
