Often when I meet kids at the park, all I hear about is mobiles, laptops, video games, shopping, travel, food and friends.

While the maths, science, geography and grammar are all around me, I use it in my life to live……….but I do not feel it, I am not aware about it, I am alien to it.Maths is seen as calculations and is used to check intelligence. Children meet maths, through checking: “do you know this?” “Can you do this calculation?”
