Prakrath joined us for live station. He is 10yrs old and he works with Insects, butterflies, frogs and snakes. He shared how he studies them, He also shared his tools and field books to study. We went around in the campus to catch butterflies and insects. It was PCF day for us at campus, some parents also joined.

In the night one new insect came inside Umbra. My first reaction was fear of bite. Pratkarth’s first reaction was to observe the features, click picture and study about that insect. The ease with which he was catching the insects and talking about them was a learning experience for me. Seeing few insects with him made me feel more comfortable with insects. All insects have become a resource for me. His passion is contagious, it is growing on me.
