They designed a car, they took part in a competition, they won the award, they shared their journey.

Four engineering students joined Aarohi for a day to share their journey of making a car from scratch. They began with sharing the learning from this project ‘experience of joy’. It was not only making of car but also raising funds for the same – selling your ideas to others, getting rejection. Fund raising began with fear of rejection, but finally learnt that rejection is part of learning. It allowed them to learn how industry works and what do they need.

Competing in a race was less about winning and competition but more about making relationship with other participants. Travelling to South Africa allowed them to break many of their beliefs about the country and people from different culture.

They inspired us to start our journey to make our own go-cart.
