Ennai Kandriya mean “Knowing Me”. It is our local initiative in govt schools in Kelamangalam.
What we do in this program – expose them to different kinds of activities to relate to self – become aware fo ones feelings, strengths , qualities, abilities, social skills, habits of mind like responsibility, independence, confidence etc.
The children also get exposed to all the eight intelligences and understand how each one of them can be intelligent in different ways.
The whole initiative is expose kids to themselves and know themselves. So while the school takes care of academic needs we are trying to value add to their education by way of self and social development needs.
